WHAT IS THE SCTE?
The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) is a non-profit professional association.
Since 1969, SCTE has continually expanded its resources and services to meet the changing needs of its members in a rapidly evolving industry. Join the more than 15,000 CTSs, engineers, system operations managers, technicians, and field operations personnel from the U.S. and 70 countries worldwide that utilize the SCTE to deliver the tools they need to maintain their competitive edge.
SCTE offers a variety of programs and services fro the industry’s educational benefit for more than 70 chapters and has technically certified more than 3,000 employees of the cable telecommunications industry.
SCTE is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), recognized by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), and works in cooperation with the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). More than 130 MSOs, vendors and allied organizations are SCTE Standards members. |
