"MOCA: Multimedia Over Cable"
Presenter: TBD
MOCA is an abbreviation for "Multimedia over Cable Alliance". The technology was developed to allow various devices such as cable set-tops, modems, and other devices to communicate with each other over the existing coax network in the home. This is a change from traditional CATV, where all the devices in the home communicate with the network, and not each other. The earliest incarnations of the technology will permit "whole home DVR" capabilities. Expect the technology to explode as more devices take advantage of the capabilities. Learn how the technology works, and how to troubleshoot it in this training session.
