2008 Vendor Show

This year’s show may have been the most successful ever. We managed to weather-proof the show this year by changing the date to the October1^st. It will be on the 1^st Wednesday in October from now on.

New venue a good choice!

The Beni Kedem Shrine Center allowed us a convenient downtown location for our vendors, and had ample parking for our members with bucket trucks.

We had more room for more display tables, had the leeway to have our own caterer, use our own projector, the sound system worked well, and we had a stage for the door prizes and awards presentations.

Golf outing a success!

Our 1^st golf outing in a long time was held in South Charleston’s Little Creek Park on September 30^th. We plan to make it a tradition on the day before the vendor show.

Lunch was served, door prizes given away, and winning teams were announced and awarded. President Ron Brunt and former board member Dave Stuart hustled to keep all those thirsty golfers in liquid refreshment throughout the tournament.
